Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 5 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Dentanaut clinical practice management platform, applications, and services. Please read them carefully before using our software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using the Dentanaut platform (including our website at dentanaut.com, web application at app.dentanaut.com, and associated microservices), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a dental clinic, practice, healthcare facility, or corporate entity, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind such entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use Dentanaut.

2. Description of Service

Dentanaut is a Business-to-Business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) clinical workflow and practice management platform designed specifically for licensed dental professionals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

Processor Role: Dentanaut provides software infrastructure to streamline clinical charting, appointment management, patient communication, billing, and AI-assisted care workflows. Dentanaut is designed exclusively for use by clinic staff (dentists, receptionists, radiologists, and administrative staff) and is not intended for direct use by patients.

3. Account Registration & Security

To use Dentanaut, you must create a clinic account and designate administrative and clinical users.

Account Integrity: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.

Credential Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@dentanaut.com if you suspect any unauthorized access or breach of security.

Multi-User Management: Clinic Super Admins are responsible for managing access permissions for their associate dentists, staff, and visiting clinicians, and for immediately revoking access when a team member leaves the practice.

4. Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use Dentanaut strictly in compliance with applicable laws, including Indian medical council guidelines, state healthcare regulations, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

You shall NOT: • Reverse-engineer, decompile, extract, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying AI models of Dentanaut. • Share access credentials outside your authorized clinic staff or bypass role-based access controls. • Use the platform to store or process non-dental or unlawful content. • Attempt to probe, scan, benchmark, or test the vulnerability of our systems or infrastructure without explicit authorization. • Use automated scrapers, bots, or data-gathering tools against the service.

5. AI Clinical Assistance & Decision Support Disclaimer

Dentanaut integrates Artificial Intelligence features (powered by multi-tier machine learning models) designed to assist clinicians with radiograph analysis, clinical note summarization, risk auditing, and automated post-care recommendations.

CRITICAL CLINICAL DISCLAIMER: • Decision Support Tool Only: Dentanaut's AI features are clinical decision support tools and do NOT constitute medical or radiological diagnosis, advice, or treatment planning. • Human Authority: The licensed treating dentist retains 100% diagnostic and clinical authority over all patient care decisions. The AI provides secondary observations and draft notes for clinician review; the clinician must independently evaluate and verify all AI-generated outputs, radiograph bounding boxes, and clinical summaries before relying on them. • No Medical Liability: Dentanaut LLP and its officers assume no liability for clinical decisions, treatment outcomes, diagnoses, or prescriptions made by practitioners using the platform.

6. Payment Terms, Billing & AI Credits

Subscription Plans: Services are billed on a subscription basis (Starter, Basic, Pro, Lifetime, or Custom Enterprise) in Indian Rupees (INR) plus applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).

AI Credits: AI features are consumed using non-expiring AI Credits. Credits are deducted per clinical action according to our posted usage table.

Refund Policy: All fees and AI Credit purchases are final and non-refundable once consumed or activated. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time to prevent future billing cycles, but remaining partial months will not be prorated.

Taxes: All stated prices are exclusive of statutory taxes (GST), which will be added at checkout where applicable.

7. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

Platform Ownership: Dentanaut LLP retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Dentanaut platform, proprietary software, design, logos, AI architecture, and documentation.

Clinic Data Ownership: You (the clinic) retain 100% ownership of all patient records, clinical notes, X-rays, and practice data entered into the platform. You grant Dentanaut a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide and maintain the service on your behalf.

AI Model Training: Dentanaut does NOT use your private patient records or identifying medical history to train public third-party AI models.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Service Availability: Dentanaut is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we maintain high availability standards and redundant cloud infrastructure, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Dentanaut LLP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or patient data resulting from your use or inability to use the platform. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by your clinic to Dentanaut in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@dentanaut.com or requesting account deletion through the clinic portal.

Termination by Dentanaut: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in activity that poses security risks to our infrastructure or other users.

Post-Termination Data Export: Upon cancellation, you will have a 30-day grace period to export your clinic patient data in standard formats before your database is archived or deleted.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Any dispute, controversy, or legal claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Dentanaut platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
